Entitled “Inspired by Biology – Exploring Nature’s Toolbox”, this year’s Symposium will lead us delving into the creative use of existing biological mechanisms for problem solving, in both basic and applied science. With its tradition of inspiring keynote lectures and diverse short talks, this year's Symposium will present a rich program of stimulating discussions and networking opportunities between young researchers and world-leading scientists.

Ample provision will be made for informal networking and poster sessions, as well as social

activities. Additionally, every day will feature a highly appreciated blackboard session, in which participants can discuss with the keynote speakers about any topic related to research.

Keynote speakers include Martin Jinek from the University of Zurich, Molly Stevens of the

Imperial College in London and Philippe Marlière based in University of Évry-Val-d’Essonne, France and many more. For a full list of our invited speakers, please check our website (link below). The symposium will encompass synthetic biology, tissue regeneration, genome editing and other cutting edge topics. Our conference offers an exciting, interdisciplinary and unique perspective on the application of nature’s toolbox, and provides young researchers from various international research institutes with an opportunity to interact with leading scientists in a stimulating and informal environment.
