Postdoc position are open in Heraklion, on the island of Crete, Greece

K. Kalantidis Laboratory with a long expertise on RNA mediated phenomena, is seeking ambitious and hard working candidates to work on a project related plant virology and the development of innovative detection systems for plant pathogens. The work will be conducted in Heraklion, on the island of Crete, Greece.

The contract is for 1+1 years as is expected to start in April 2019 but the exact starting day can be negotiated. The salary is defined at 80-90% of that of an Assistant Professor depending on experience and qualifications.

Applicants should be PhD holders, fluent in English and have a background in Biosciences. Previous Post-doctoral experience and publications are a plus.

EU residency is welcome.
