On Monday, November 5, 2012 , University of Zagreb is celebrating Dies Academicus. At ceremonial session of the Senate, rector of the University prof. dr. sc. Aleksa Bjeliš will award special appreciations to students, professors, and coworkers of the University of Zagreb. Student Igor Marković will be awarded by special appreciation for success on international level – internationally recognized research work in physics. The awarded scientific work Igor has made collaborating in project SOLeNeMaR.
During the ceremonial session the prize “Fran Bošnjaković” for technical sciences and the prize “Andrija Mohorovičić” for natural sciences for year 2012 will be awarded.
Senate of the University of Zagreb has decided to award prof. dr. sc. Antonije Dulčić , member of the SOLeNeMaR project, with the prize “Andrija Mohorovičić” for 2012. The prize is given for distinguished scientific work in the field of high temperature superconductivity and microwave investigations of new materials, for transfer of knowledge and education of students and young scientists, and for public work for the benefit of Faculty of Science and the University of Zagreb.
