Graz University of Technology is seeking outstanding PhD candidates with interest and experience in probabilistic combinatorics.
A successful candidate will pursue their PhD degree within Project 15 'Random graphs on a surface' of the Doctoral Program 'Discrete Mathematics', as a member of the Combinatorics Group at the Graz University of Technology under the supervision of Univ.-Prof. Mihyun Kang. Research topics include random graphs, random graphs on surfaces, random hypergraphs, random simplicial complexes, and random subgraphs.
The position is up to 3 years, and the preferred starting date is 1 March 2022.
