Department of Geophysics, Faculty of Science is organizing an international scientific workshop "Workshop on Advances in Meso and Micro-meteorology". The workshop is related to work on the CATURBO (HRZZ, No. 09/151) and BORA (No. 119-1193086-1311) projects. The aims of the workshop are: (i) an exchange of the latest scientific results among meteorologists and (ii) strengthen the communication between meteorologists and other experts who use meteorological data for scientific purposes. PhD students will be able to get 3 ECTS credits for their oral presentations.

Wonderful news arrived recently from the Editorial of the Frontiers in Earth Science concerning “Workshop on Advances in Meso- and Micro-Meteorology“, international scientific workshop held a year ago near Zagreb in Stubičke Toplice.
Several scientific papers presented on the workshop by formal or unformal collaborators of CATURBO, scientific project (# 91/151) financed by the Croatian Science Foundation, was crowned by this e-book edition, on which Robin Driscoll, PhD, Journal Development Specialist, thanked by writing: "We thank you once again for your valuable contribution to this Frontiers Research Topic, and we look forward to your continuing engagement with Frontiers."
