All teaching activities will be held in Croatian. However, foreign students in mixed groups will have the opportunity to attend additional office hours with the lecturer and teaching assistants in English to help master the course materials. Additionally, the lecturer will refer foreign students to the corresponding literature in English, as well as give them the possibility of taking the associated exams in English.

Description:
COURSE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: To present the fundamental methods of projective geometry as the basis for study of different other, especially projective-metrical, geometries.

COURSE DESCRIPTION AND SYLLABUS:
1. Axioms of projective plane.
2. Pappus - Pascal and Desargues theorem.
3. Harmonic conjugacy.
4. Perspectivities and projectivities. Fundamental theorem of projective geometry.
5. Collineation and correlation.
6. Polarity.
7. Curves of second order and second class.
8. Algebraic structure of projective plane.
9. Coordinatization of projective plane.
10. Analytic foundation of real projective plane.
11. Affine plane.
12. Euclidean plane.
13. Projective n-dimensional space (n>2).
