All teaching activities will be held in Croatian. However, foreign students in mixed groups will have the opportunity to attend additional office hours with the lecturer and teaching assistants in English to help master the course materials. Additionally, the lecturer will refer foreign students to the corresponding literature in English, as well as give them the possibility of taking the associated exams in English.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
1. Understanding the problem of invasive species at national, regional and global level
2. Predicting the potential dangers of the presence and spread of invasive species
3. Applying the new knowledge in preparation and developing projects related to the invasive species elimination
4. Using the legal framework related to the invasive species and proposing and arguing the necessary changes

EXERCISES
Two half-day practical courses in the vicinity of Zagreb
Practical courses 1: Invasive crayfish and mollusc species: Research methodology of invasive species. Invasive species determination. Estimation of invasive species population size.
Practical courses 2: Invasive plant species: Methods of research and plant determination. Mapping and estimation of invasive plant species population size.
