Description:
Definitions of symbiosis. Forms of symbiosis. Role of symbiosis in speciation. Importance of symbiosis in biodiversity. Models of symbiosis in plants and animals. Mechanisms of symbiosis. Endosymbiosis. Principles and possibilites of symbiosis. Evolutionary reversal. Molecular phylogeny of endosymbionts and hosts. It is scheduled that one lecture would be given by an endosymbiosis expert.
