Biography

Education at Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb: Diploma thesis (Chemistry); Doctoral thesis (Chemistry, Inorganic and Structural Chemistry).

Affiliation and current position: Division of General and Inorganic Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb: Assistant (1997– 2013), Assistant Professor (2013-2018), Associate Professor (2018-  ).

Teaching: Crystal chemistry, Solid-state chemistry, Fundamentals of crystal and solid-state chemistry (graduate programs); Chemistry 1 and 2, General chemistry laboratory 1 and 2 (undergraduate programs);  Advanced chemistry laboratory, Crystallochemistry, Fundamentals of crystal chemistry and solid-state chemistry (integrated undergraduate and graduate programs).

Visits to foreign research and education institutions: Institut für Organische Chemie, Universität Leipzig, Leipzig, Germany, Institut für Mineralogie und Kristallographie, Universität Wien, Vienna, Austria.

Research interest: mechanically induced flexibility of crystals, supramolecular chemistry, crystal engineering, crystallography, crystallization, coordination chemistry.
