Biography

Affiliation: Vice-dean for International Relations (Faculty of Science University of Zagreb).
Full Professor (from 2016 in Division of Physical Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science University of Zagreb).

Primary research interest: theoretical investigation of molecular electronic-structures, conformational analysis, reaction mechanisms, vibrational and NMR spectra by quantum chemical calculations and ab initio molecular dynamics simulations.
Author of program qcc (Quantum Chemistry Code) written in latest Fortran (fully parallelized with OMP where feasible).

Secundary research interest: Chemometrical investigation of vibrational spectra for complex mixtures and identification of variations.
Author of program moonee (Code for Manipulation and Analysis of Multi- and Univariate Big Data) written in latest Fortran (fully parallelized with OMP where feasible).
Program capabilities: numerical and statistical methods, regression, optimization, probability distributions and tensor decomposition methods.

Scientific papers: Coauthor in more than 60 scientific papers (in journals listed in Web of Science Core Collection database).

 

 

Teaching: Undergraduate studies (Physical Chemistry 1), graduate studies (Molecular Spectroscopy, Theoretical Chemistry, Chemometrics), doctoral study (Molecular Spectroscopy, Theoretical Chemistry and Reaction Dynamics).
