Biography

Ivan Šulc has been employed at the Department of Geography as assistant and junior researcher since 2011. He graduated at the same institution in 2011 and in 2016 he defended his doctoral thesis Models of Tourism Development in South Dalmatia, supervised by Professor Zoran Curić and Professor Aleksandar Toskić. He is assistant at courses Tourism Geography, Geoinformatics, Regionalization Principles, Cartographic Basis of GIS, Geography of East Asia and Field Course in Geography. In the academic year 2014-2015, he stayed at the University of Milan, Italy within the programme Erasmus+ Placement. Ivan Šulc is secretary of the scientific journal Croatian Geographical Bulletin. He is a member of the Steering Committee of the Croatian Geographical Society and a member of the Editorial Board of the professional journal Geografski Horizont. He participated in many educational and organizational activities at the Department of Geography and in the Croatian Geographical Society.
