NMR study on (CaxLa1−x)(Ba1.75−xLa0.25+x)Cu3Oy, short name CaLaBaLaCO, has been accepted for publication in Physical Review B. PhD candidate Tonči Cvitanić used the behaviour of 17O nucleus in a broad range of different dopings to monitor the properties of the enigmatic pseudogap with respect to the superconductivity. Although the crystal structure of this family of compounds resembles that of YBCO, probably most explored cuprate superconductor of today, where the pseudogap scale overlaps with superconductivity, in CaLaBaLaCO it displays a clearly different behaviour.
