COURSE OBJECTIVES:
The objective of the course Introduction to human sexuality is to acquaint students with basic biological, psychosocial and biopsychosocial theories in the field of human sexuality, as well as paradigmatic research into clinical (e.g., sexual response cycle, sexual health disorders...) and non-clinical phenomena (e.g. sexual orientation, risky sexual behavior, sexual education, etc.), in order to better understand the determinants and phenomenology of human sexuality, including the associated social controversies.
