Matej Kožić, an employee of the Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science, was awarded with one of the two awards for best oral presentation at the First Meeting of Young Biophysicists, held on November 14th, 2025, at the Ruđer Bošković Institute. The meeting was organized by the Croatian Biophysical Society. In his presentation, Matej Kožić presented the results of his research conducted under the supervision of Professor Branimir Bertoša as part of the Horizon project MI-DNA DISC (Grant Agreement 101115215). The presented results are focused on the development of library of oligonucleotides with purpose of long-term data storage.
