All teaching activities will be held in Croatian. However, foreign students in mixed groups will have the opportunity to attend additional office hours with the lecturer and teaching assistants in English to help master the course materials. Additionally, the lecturer will refer foreign students to the corresponding literature in English, as well as give them the possibility of taking the associated exams in English.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
1. understand main principles of parasitism
2. be aknowledged with parasitological ternminology
3. be aknowledged with basic morphology of different orders of important endoparasites and ectoparasites
4. be aknowledged with the biology of most important human parasites
5. understand the importance of parasites that are transmitted from animals to humans
6. be aknowledged with methods of isolation of parasites from live and dead animals
7. be aknowledged with methods of parasite storage
8. be aknowledged with the principles of parasite determination
