An overview of recent papers dealing with selected chapters of seismology is presented by students to their peers (one presentation per student per semester).

students to their peers (one presentation per student per semester).

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
After completing the course of the Seminar in Seismology students will:
1. Better read and understand research papers
2. Improve their skills in presenting the research
3. Improve their discussion skills
4. Be able to defend and argue for the research conclusions.

LEARNING MODE:
Studying papers and other literature, presenting research, listening to presentations, participation in discussions.

TEACHING METHODS:
Students' presentations, discussion, moderation of discussions.

TERMS FOR RECEIVING THE SIGNATURE:
Submitted written report and held oral presentation.

EXAMINATION METHODS:
The student must address a selected topic in the field of seismology based on an original scientific/research paper. It is necessary to write a written report (seminar/paper) and give an oral presentation.
