This is important international gathering that takes place every five years and this time hosted over 3,000 researchers and experts. Two posters directly linked to the NanoPhyto project were presented: "First viruses infecting cockspur coral tree (Erythrina crista-galli L.): discovery of a novel capillovirus and a new host for the prune dwarf virus" (authors Dijana Škorić, Martina Šeruga Musić, Dorotea Grbin, Sébastien Massart), and "A search for resistance breaking strains of tomato spotted wilt orthotospovirus in Croatia and Slovenia (authors Dijana Škorić, Dorotea Grbin, Patrik Pul, Nataša Mehle, Anja Pecman, Zala Kogej Zwitter, Denis Kutnjak, Ana Vučurović ). Two posters were also presented expanding colaboration with NIB, archaeologists and archaeobotanists ("Antique olives have antique viruses that are still new to us?" by Dijana Škorić, Renata Šoštarić, Olivera Maksimović, Lana Vogrinec, Jurica Bezak, Denis Kutnjak) and with the University of Montenegro and the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana ("Current status of Prunus necrotic ring spot virus in Montenegro", authors Zindović Jelena, Đapić Zorka, Miljanić Vanja, Nataša Štajner, Šeruga-Musić Martina, Škorić Dijana, Jernej Jakše). As part of the first day of ICPP, on August 20, 23, they also participated in the "Satellite event: High-throughput sequencing in plant virology: from discovery to diagnostics."

Professor Dijana Škorić, associate professor Martina Šeruga Music and postdoc Dorotea Grbin participated with a poster presentation at the first Slovenian conference on microbiomes, which gathered about a hundred participants from more than half a dozen countries. In the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of Bled, we had the opportunity to discuss the microbiome research results of very diverse samples coming from various types of hosts and environments. Also, we met colleagues from nearby European countries who are engaged in similar type of research as we are in the scope of the project NanoPhyto.
