OUTLINE OF COURSE:
Module A (quantum chromodynamics): partonic structure of hadrons, factorization, parton distribution functions, nonperturbative aspects of low-energy QCD.
Module B (electroweak and flavour physics): parameters and tests of electroweak sector of standard model, physics of Higgs boson, neutrino masses and oscillations, flavour physics, CP violation.
Module C (advanced applications of field theory): quantum anomalies, topological objects, operator product expansion, effective field theories.
