Education at Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb: Diploma thesis (Chemistry, 2002); Doctoral thesis (Chemistry, Inorganic and Structural Chemistry, 2008).  

Affiliation and current position: Division of General and Inorganic Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb: Full Professor (2021 –).

Previous positions: Associate Professor (2015 – 2020), Assistant Professor (2010 – 2015), Senior Assistant (2009–2010); Assistant (2002–2009), Division of General and Inorganic Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb.  

Visits to foreign research and education institutions: Fakultät für Chemie, Universität Bielefeld, Bielefeld, Germany (2013-2014); Institut für Mineralogie und Kristallographie, Fakultät für Geowissenschaften, Geographie und Astronomie Universität Wien, Austria (2004). 

Research interest: Solid-state chemistry of organic, inorganic and hybrid organic-inorganic compounds, crystal engineering; IR, Raman and NMR spectroscopy, thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction.

Scientific papers: co-author of 39 scientific papers in journals indexed in Web of Science Core Collection database, 3 other papers (peer-reviewed papers). Coauthor of one book chapter.

Višnja Vrdoljak); 2015.–2016. Synthesis and characterization of zirconium silicate on a laboratory scale and definition od the desired particle size distribution, collaboration with PLIVA d.o.o.; 2015.–2019.
