COURSE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
Enable students to:
- work individually or in a team on a practical solution of a selected problem;
- research individually the scientific literature, analyze the existing solutions to similar problems;
- apply or adapt existing results from the literature for solving the given problem, or to develop new, alternative approaches to the given problem;
- create project documentation and present the obtained results.
COURSE DESCRIPTION AND SYLLABUS:
The student will individually or as a member of a team, and in agreement with their adviser, work on a chosen practical problem in the field of computing. This may include participating in a competition approved by the adviser. The student will research the literature related to the topic of the project, implement a solution to the problem, write the appropriate documentation, and present the obtained results.
