* Load is given in academic hour (1 academic hour = 45 minutes)
Description:
The aim of the course is to apply the acquired knowledge of inorganic chemistry in the field of metal-organic compounds, which are most often used as catalysts. The fundamental catalytic processes applicable for the preparation of industrially important compounds will be correlated on the basis of the studied catalytic parameters.

CONTENT:
Development and application of the principles of green chemistry in the field of synthesis and catalysis.
Properties of alkyl, aryl, metal hydrides. Pi-complexes
Metal-organic compounds as catalysts (molecular, heterogeneous).
Industrially important reactions catalyzed by metal complexes (ammonia production, alkene hydrogenation, alkene hydroformylation, alkene oxidation, alkene metathesis, alkene polymerization).

Within the seminar, current topics in the field are discussed on the basis of original scientific papers or review papers reported by the students themselves.
