Introducing students to the concept, meaning and space (scope) of the Mediterranean as a region. Getting to know the elements of Mediterranean identity. Conception and understanding of the role of the Mediterranean as a link between continents and cultures. Getting to know the characteristics of the natural environment, degradation processes and natural and environmental risks. Getting to know the elements of cultural heritage.
