Description: | |||||||
The general goal is to introduce transportation geography as a scientific discipline that explains the origin, development, forms and development of transportation, as well as its influence on spatial and structural changes. Students will get to know the main methods of transportation-geographic research, the development of certain types of traffic and their impact on economic development and other aspects of social life (migration, free time, etc.). Special emphasis is given to the study of the Croatian transport system and its integration into the European transport system, as well as the role of transport in contemporary globalization processes. |
