COURSE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
Working with the mainstream programming technologies. Adopting some basic management techniques that are needed for larger and more involved projects. Introducing graphical user interface design rules. Working with databases and data access idioms.

COURSE DESCRIPTION AND SYLLABUS:
1. Detailed study of the .NET platform from the level of Common Language Runtime (CLR). Designing graphical user interfaces by using the Windows Forms Library.
2. Access to databases via data access blocks. Getting acquainted with the Microsoft SQL Server relational database software.
3. Distributed programming for typical client-server architectures.
