All teaching activities will be held in Croatian. However, foreign students in mixed groups will have the opportunity to attend additional office hours with the lecturer and teaching assistants in English to help master the course materials. Additionally, the lecturer will refer foreign students to the corresponding literature in English, as well as give them the possibility of taking the associated exams in English. |

COURSE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: The main aim of the course is preparing students for international competitions in mathematics. In addition to reviewing the undergraduate material, the participants will gain familiarity with a variety of techniques, ideas and certain tricks for solving original mathematical problems. Other objectives of the course are: promoting the general mathematical culture to interested students, introducing better students to the scientific research, and encouraging students for self-guided study and practice. |
