Description:
The general goal of the course Traffic and Spatial Organization is to point out the role of traffic in the organization of space and its influence on the formation of the system of central settlements and the spatial organization of various activities. Learn the place and role of traffic system analysis in the creation of spatial plans.
Develop the skill and ability to apply more complex methods of analysis of the traffic network and traffic system (analysis of traffic availability, hierarchy of nodes, hierarchy of traffic connections).

CONTENT OF THE COURSE
1. Transport network and transport system. Models and methods of traffic network analysis.
2. Traffic, traffic accessibility and location.
3. The influence of traffic on the development of primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary activities.
4. Traffic and organization of space on a global, regional and local level.
5. Impact of traffic on social processes - urbanization, migration, etc.
6. Traffic and spatial planning.
7. Traffic and traffic planning
8. Traffic system and urban system.
9. Traffic in the city - Part I.
