Biography

Born in 1992 in Đakovo, where he completed primary and secondary school. Completed a dual major undergraduate programme in geography and Russian language and literature at the University of Zadar. Enrolled in the graduate study of geography in both the research and teacher’s specialisations at the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb in 2015, and received the title of Master of Education in geography in 2017 with the topic Extramarital natality in Osijek-Baranja and Vukovar-Srijem Counties from 1995 to 2015 under the mentorship of Professor Dubravka Spevec. The following academic year, he defended his second diploma paper entitled Bicycle traffic as a function of the daily circulation of secondary school students in the township of Đakovo under the mentorship of Professor Martina Jakovčić, attaining the title of Master of Geography.  In 2019, enrolled in the Doctoral study of Geography: Space, Region, Environment, Landscape.

In the period from 2017 – 2019, he taught geography in primary schools, longest at the Dalj primary school. Since 2019, he has been employed as a junior researcher in the Division of Regional Geography and Methodic. He holds seminars in the courses Geography methodology II, Geography teaching methodology II and Methodology exercises in the graduate teacher’s study of geography, and in the integrated study of geography and history.
