Acquisition of hydromorphological data for the needs of intercalibration of biological methods for the assessment of the ecological status of rivers

Summary:
Croatian Waters have launched several projects with the aim of reviewing and updating existing methods of biological quality elements for environmental assessment and conducting an independent intercalibration procedure based on an updated environmental assessment system. In connection with the above mentioned projects, Croatian Waters is obliged to provide available data on monitoring stations, environmental data and data about pressures, which include data on hydromorphological status of river sections. Within the project, the hydromorphological status of a total of 48 sections of water bodies in Croatia was assessed in the office and in the field.
