I was born on January 13, 1998, in Pula, Croatia. After completing the Giuseppina Martinuzzi Italian Primary School in Pula, I enrolled in and completed the science and mathematics program at the Gymnasium in Pula. In the 2017/2018 academic year, I enrolled in the Undergraduate Research Programme in Geography at the Department of Geography, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Geography in 2020, under the supervision of Associate Professor Ivan Zupanc, PhD, with my bachelor’s thesis entitled Accessibility and Geographical Distribution of Central Functions and Places in Istria County. In the 2020/2021 academic year, I enrolled in the Graduate Research Programme in Geography: Spatial Planning and Regional Development at our Department. In the same year, I was awarded the Chancellor’s Award for individual scientific research papers, entitled Spatial Perception of Boundaries and Quality of Life in the Neighbourhoods of Pula, which I co-authored with my colleague Dajana Dimitrijević under the supervision of Associate Professor Vedran Prelogović, PhD. From February to June 2022, I spent a semester at the University of Lisbon, Portugal, as part of an Erasmus+ study mobility. In September of the same year, I obtained the degree of Master of Geography by defending my master’s thesis entitled Uljanik Shipyard in Pula: Possibilities of Redevelopment and Revitalization of an Industrial Brownfield, under the supervision of Associate Professor Vedran Prelogović, PhD.
At the end of 2022, I enrolled in the Doctoral Study in Geography: Space, Region, Environment, Landscape at our Department, as part of which I am working on my doctoral thesis entitled Tourism as a Factor of Gentrification in the Urban Region of Pula, under the supervision of Associate Professor Vedran Prelogović, PhD. During May and June 2025, I visited the Instituto de Geografia e Ordenamento do Territorio (IGOT) at the University of Lisbon as part of an Erasmus+ short-term mobility program for doctoral students, where I collaborated with Professor Agustín Cocola-Gant. During my doctoral studies, I have so far published one review article and participated in several international and domestic scientific conferences.
Since August 2026, I have been employed as an Assistant at the Division of Social Geography, Department of Geography, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb.
