On Friday, November 22, 2024, 14:00 hours, lecture room 101, Paolo Papi (La Sapienza University) will hold lecture as part of Seminar for Algebra titled:

On Unitarity of minimal affine W-algebra.

Abstract:

I will review results on unitarity of minimal W-algebras, showing a classification of such algebras and a conjectural classification of their unitary representations in the Neveu-Schwarz and Ramond sector.  Applications to character theory and to the representation theory of affine vertex algebras will be given. These results are taken from joint papers with D. Adamovic, V. Kac and P. Moseneder Frajria.

If time allows, I will explain our findings on Physicists papers on coset realizations of superconformal algebras which we speculate  to be a relevant tool towards the completion of classification of unitary representations.
