Seminar for Dynamic Systems

On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, 16:15 hours, two lectures will be held in Lecture room 104 as part of Seminar for Dynamic systems:

1)

Speaker: Lucas Backes, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil

Title: Continuity of Lyapunov exponents

Abstract: We will give an overview of some recent results about continuity of Lyapunov exponents for linear cocycles and present some interesting problems related to this theory.

2)

Speaker: Davor Dragičević, University of Rijeka, Rijeka, Croatia

Title: Quenched limit laws for expanding on average cocycle

Abstract: In [1,2] the authors have extended the classical spectral method for establishing limit laws to the nonautonomous setting. This enabled them to obtain a variety of limit laws for broad classes of piecewise expanding and uniformly hyperbolic dynamics. We will discuss an additional refinement of this method for piecewise expanding on average dynamics. In sharp contrast to the earlier results, we deal with the case of random dynamics which exhibits nonuniform (with respect to the random parameter) decay of correlations. This is a joint work with J. Sedro [3].
