South Eastern European Climate...

Associate professor Ivana Herceg Bulić received financial support from the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP, Trieste, Italy) for the establishment of the "South Eastern European Climate Network (SEEC Network)". The funds are intended to connect scientists and research groups in Southeast Europe. The main goal is scientific cooperation with the transfer of knowledge and skills. Research topics cover climate and climate variability in Southeast Europe on various scales (from urban to regional) with the study of global climate impacts. The activities of the network include scientific cooperation, organization of scientific meetings with the aim of joint research and organization of workshops for network members and students. There is also a permanent collaboration with a group of climatologists working at the ICTP "The Earth System Physics (ESP) section".
