In October 2019, the CroClimGoGreen project manager, associate professor Ivana Herceg Bulić and doctoral student Sara Ivasić visited the NORCE Norwegian Research Center in Bergen (Norway) where they were guests of professor Martin P. King.
As part of their doctoral studies, they attended a lecture on tropical interannual variability and a discussion on long-distance connections between tropical and extratropical latitudes. They participated in a meeting of a group studying climate variability in current and future climate conditions and presented the results of previous work on the CroClimGoGreen project in a lecture entitled: Is it possible to distinguish an ENSO-related signal from NAO in European climate anomalies?
Collaboration with prof. King continues as he will visit Zagreb in April 2020.
