Call for applications for the summer school is now open!

Summer School for doctoral students and recent post-docs (An-)Hydrous Environments: Rethinking Water in Environmental History, is co-organized by the European Society for Environmental History (ESEH, European Society for Environmental History (eseh.org)).

The school will be held in Great Britain from July 10th to July 13th, 2022. It is co-organized by the Department of History, University of Bristol. Organizers are doing their best to promote inclusivity and diversity of topics, historical periods, study areas and geographical coverage of states of summer school participants. The school's main focus is on history, but it will foster interdisciplinary approaches. Doctoral students and recent post-docs dealing (partly) with these issues are welcome to apply. Apart from the application (deadline: April 1st), applicants have to submit a draft of their research paper/chapter dealing with (or related to) the school's topics (in English) by June 10th. Namely, the school's programme includes lectures, excursions and participants' research presentations.
