Research Seminar

In order to advance to the 2nd Study Year, it shall be required that students, among other, fulfil the obligation of the Research Seminar 1 that shall be achieved through regular and intensive work with the supervisor/menthor on research (confirmed by the menthor’s signature).

Research Seminar involves developing a Work Plan and a minimum of 3 regular meetings with the supervisor during one semester. The Work Plan is developed in accordance with the Regulations on Doctoral Studies at the University of Zagreb on special form signed by the PhD student and the supervisor. After the consultation the supervisor makes a note in the Work Plan to record whether the student was prepared for the consultation and whether the progress has been made according to the Work Plan.

For advancing to the 3rd Study Year, the doctoral student shall be required to fulfil the obligation of the Research Seminar 2 (confirmed by the menthor’s signature).
